Hi

well i picked up my bike form hartlepool came att 130 miles back no problem not a scuff, come to taking it off the trailer a strap gives way and the bike falls over, my fault i pressed the wrong part of strap Embarassed *bugger* i thought but alas nothing broken or anything. drive all round getting used to it ect no problem, the first time i take it into 6thform in my school im just getting ready to leave form teh school back home again and it all goes a bit wrong Evil or Very Mad heres a quick run-down.

4 chavs stood near my bike all school age, all smoking. They're all just chuntering on about usual chav rubbish until i get on n start it up they all shout the lad over like really shouting him to come really quickly shouting him over and over. However i later realise he was at the other side of the car park but unaware and just not really bothered about chav A shouting to Chav B i spin the bike round in a big loop so im now over to the right hand side of the car park, and make to head off out the car park (bear in mind ive had a geared bike for about 12 hours at this point Confused ) as soon as im spun totally round i see three lads all in baseball caps and other prison chic' running towards me as fast as they can Shocked so still in my head being a little unsure and intrusting that all people are inherently good i ride off still in first gear aiming to keep speed down when they change direction and go to intercept me Shocked , being the sort of school it is i thought they were probably angling to squirt me with water or maybe throw an empty can at me (cause they 'the man! Cool ) but they were all empty handed and clentching fists so being shocked and caught up in the moment i just rip back the throttle and redline it in 1st only just missing em. im really shocked now what would have happened if they had caught up with me if i hadnt wound on the throttle, so bad as i dont want to take my bike to school anymore at all, ive had 2 bikes in total now both have been pushed over while parked at school Crying or Very sad apologies for length, just wondered what anyone would advise in a similar situation how best to deal with it ect??
thanks

Turning up accompanied by a bunch of other people on bikes (preferrably big hairy blokes with tatoos) would do the trick.

ask to be allowed to park somewhere away from everywhere

make up storys that you should have the right to be able to ride to school/college whatever, so they let u park it under the heads window or summin

as for leaving i dunno, if u roar past them they would be sucidal to get in the way

That's rediculous. How hard is it to procure a personal firearm where you live?

Take a baseball bat to school with you, next time the f*ckers want to start introduce them to your pal "Woody".

F**king good-for-nothing jealous little piece's of shit. You can't have nothing without some wanker wanting to break/steal your possesions. Mad Evil or Very Mad

What stinkwheel said is the best policy I reckon. If they are introduced to a handful of bikers who are all threatening to beat the shit out of anyone who touches your bike, it will probably put them off doing anything again! Laughing

Right, who lives near Danclarkie and can organise a 'posse' to accompany him to school - how funny would that be? Laughing

The scallies in Mansfield are about as bad as they get Evil or Very Mad

If you teach them a lesson it still wont stop them going for your bike when you're not around to protect it. Plus they'd be as likely to get all their scumbag mates and older brothers together and come and find you Thumbs Down

My first priority in your situation would be my property because they're not realistically likely to do anything that bad to you. That means keeping your bike safe and hoping they can't find out where you live. Can't really offer any advice because I'd be shitting myself if some scallies started a vendetta to nick my bike. And i'm not a big hairy scary biker either Sad Well, i'm a little bit hairy Wink

Don't forget that it is totaly legitimate to carry a large heavy padlock and chain to protect your property, and that you are now allowed to defend yourself with the first thing that comes to hand Wink Wink

Report the incident to the school, I'm being serious. You have been intimidated and bullied and are now in fear for your own safety, they have to act to ensure that this doesn't happen again. Insist they do something and report any further incidents immediately.

Very true and if the school give you any shit remind them of the fatal attacks in the past on school property and there duty of care whilst you are coming and leaving the school.

If the school still gives you shit take it to the papers and get it all nice and messy.

Only other thing I would remind you even though it is your pride and joy it is still only a thing and your personal safety is far more important so act with care.

P.S on a side note when my brother was getting ready to set of around the world on his bike he did a little first aid and defence training with a couple of ex SAS service men. And they told a tale of one couple travailing in Thailand.

Couple up on a GS1150 adventure fully loaded panniers top box tank bag 40 litter full tank the works. And up comes two lady boy wan be on a POS scooter with the pillion waving a knife about and telling then to get off the bike.

The couple did a class thing imho and just dropped the bike on the ground and walked of a ways to watch Saying “if you can pick it up you can have it”.

Now I have no idea if that’s true or not but it is a good story and after trying to pick up my bros bike fully loaded I really can see it working)

i hate the youth of today, even only about 5 or 6 years back when i was a mere late-teenager things were much better, you didn't really worry about getting stuff nicked or vandalised; nowadays it's expected.

We need a government with a chav-control method that involves a 12-bore and an ammo belt. if only arnie was PM..

Seriously i wouldn't take my bike there any longer if i were you, chav scum, the only thing that gets me really angry is chav scum and i hope they get knocked over by some big blue anti-chav bulldozer.

Have some people waiting at the gates next time, so next time they run at you get off your bike and yous can all lay into them, see if they think they're 'all that' then. parasites. the lot of them.

I've had it attempted twice. Both times i've kicked it down to first revved it hard and dumped the clutch.

Once they scatterd, second time they didnt, but i was past them before they had chance to block the way.

If the front wheel had come up, all the better! Laughing

i ride a scoot to school and used to park it outside the PE office, now some fucking idiots thought it would be funny to move it 3 times in 2 weeks!

solution - go up to them threaten them bang on their house doors complain to their parents saying u might just have to beat them up:P

this worked for me, plus i now park the scoot outside the office

I'm amazed it's as common as that?

I've never heard of someone trying to jack a bike while the rider's on it. I suppose it's a fairly good method, no locks to break, no hotwiring to be done etc.

Ever happened to anyone else?

Beware of chavs.

scum.

lock it up with all the locks you can afford and lock it too something secure if you have to take it to school.

report it to school as above. especially if you know who the kids are.

i've had a bike nicked and wished i'd been there to do something, but your life is more important than a bike.

**make sure you have theft insurance**

hope it doesnt happen again

i'd go to the headmaster first like somebody said earlier then to the police(atempted robbery or something) just so it's on record incase it's needed for future referance.
i.e:next time some scumbag's attempts to grab you and you've hand to backhand him with a well protective glove as you pass.
it'll back up your self defence when they call the police to have you done.
or just steal all their burberry cap's and burn em in the middle of the playground

Once saw a video of someone getting clotheslined off their bike. It looked remarkably easy for the guy to do, the rider accelerated at him, he stuck his arm out, and BAM! the rider went arse over tit off the back.

Be careful, if one of these eejits decides to grow half a brain cell and stick an arm out/ swing a punch, you'd need to be pretty fast ducking.
