It says it's not a copy, nothing like the Hongdou 125 Smoto. Why has it got the same engine as my Hongdou bike then? 75 mph? They'd be hard pushed to get 75mph out the engine in my bike without substantially altering the internals. Nor does it say who actually produced it.

They do speak a load of bull on that advert, anyone who didn't know what it all meant could be sucked in. I'd steer clear myself, but that's something to be left up to you.

WTF is with the headlight on it? Shocked

Looks nice at the moment, but I'm inclined to think it wouldn't stay like that for long.

Thumbs Up

If you want 4 stroke you could get a second hand dr125 for that sort of price; or a TS,DT or KMX125, all of which are much better 2 stroke bikes.

If you get some half-road tyres you should have plenty enough grip with out the 17" wheels on a 125.

The mirrors look stupid on it. They would be the first things to go if I had one.

"(Performance Exhaust Available for De Restriction )"

What restriction would that be then? Laughing

A lad I know bought some imported copy thing and its dropping to bits, the thing doesnt even idle anymore. Razz Of course, this isnt something that'll happen to all imported bikes, but I cant say I've heard much good of these imports, other than they are cheap for a brand new bike and tend to run well on minimal maintenance and very good fuel economy, as expected.

I think G's idea is a better solution, going for one of the more reputable bikes. Thumbs Up

I REALLY dont like that single side mounted shock Neutral and the tiny fairing and headlight look ming

it's actually not even that cheap...

"not a copy" just means its their own design. doesn't mean it's "good" tho..

interested to know Where they are made, and afaik, ANY motorvehicle sold in the EU (not the EEC anymore) must comply with EC regulations, whether it's manufactured here, or imported from china..

sounds like a load of bovine excreta to me.

What feef said. Anything that says "eec approved" that many times in an ad is really reaching for a selling point.

for £3000 you could buy a much better s'moto, even one of those aprilia MX125s seem to be pretty good.
