dont take the air filter out, your bike will last about 2 mins without it! it does sound better but you will have to pay for it.

you need a foam filter in there mate as crap will get sucked into the carb

a pipercross or a cmp filter for example

also get a full jim lomas system on there rather than just an end can

34mm carb race cdi e.t.c

get it modded up properly mate

talk to nickrs125 on apriliaforum or craig at 125ccsportsbikes for info on modding your rs125

you probs no all this all ready though.

just passing on a bit of info

Hi

Aprilia use Rotax enignes in most of their larger bikes (not the 50s) and Rotax have pretty much always put the kickstart on the left and the chain on the right.

Taking the air filter out will make it run leaner. You might well get away with this on a bike that is set up quite richly, but you might land up with a problem, and you also might get away with it until a cold day and then have it seize.

Added to which it will drag rubbish into the engine. Just one piece of grit getting into the engine if you are unlucky could wreck the barrel.

All the best

Keith

If you remove the brakes you'll shave four kilos in weight and the bike'll hit 60mph 0.213 seconds quicker.
