Looks very nice! Wouldn't kick it outta bed if it farted!

I would have thought a tuned Hayabusa would do 227mph though...
Heard of a few people adding superchargers, NOS etc.

Been out a while. Uses a modified helicopter engine from a Bell Jet Ranger and sounds amazing.

sorry to say but that bike has been around for years as it's called the y2k so you can probably guess when it was first produced.

Hi

Could be fun, but not sure if I fancy something with such a poor throttle response. Imagine riding a bike where when you shut the throttle it takes a few seconds to have any effect.

All the best

Keith

Pah, that turbine bike only has 320HP! If you want REAL power, go for the Boss Hoss Big Block 502 V8. 8 litres and 502bhp! And I thought the 1.8litre Honda Goldwing I sat on a couple of weeks ago was big. Laughing

Only £40k as well! Bargain! (ahem)

Not that POS again, they make huge speed claims on their website, but have ignored every invitation from turbo Busas owners to race or proove the speed claims they make Laughing

£41,999 for a boss hoss? Where's that price come from? importing the engines or what?

They can pull their head out of their collective arses - the rocket 3's about a quarter of that price, and the engine's only just under half the size. Where's the price come from?! Mad

Oh well Smile .

Blip the throttle in traffic and the car behind you catches fire.

Sounds like fun, there's a vid of one somewhere, not sure I'd have one. And I thought the TZR250 was impractical. Rolling Eyes

Why not? It's one of those things you do because you can. (eg Why climb Everest? Because it's there.)

They has this bike on "Bikes Aloud" a while back and it sounded awesome and out on the road it was apparently a well behaved bike (if strangely different) and just brutal on the track.

So what happens if some one that knows how to build bikes has a go at the turbine approach and places it on the race track I would love to see how it would fair?
