Well after many not showing any interest my 12 year old stepdaughter said she'd like to ride pillion.

Gear sorted (my old trousers & gloves, mums jacket, mums helmet - she's as tall as mum!). Her mother was very protective and I had to do the ride around the block - just to make sure she doesn't get scared! Quick briefing about sitting like a sack of potatoes, signals for slow/stop and not putting feet down. Then off we go.

After that had a little run down to Squires. She came back with a wide grin and wanting to do it again Very Happy. Although now I need to get pillion headset sorted so she can have music Rolling Eyes (I quote 'it's boring looking at the back of your head').

I don't think I've ever carried a more precious cargo.

Anyone else carried anyone/anything they didn't want to drop?

I'd be too scared! I've taken 2 different mates out on the back, I'm a bit apprehensive about taking the mrs out though.

I do seem to recall Anabella taking her daughter on the back? And was extremely anxious about that one.

I take my gf out on the back most weekends...

have probably done more miles 2 up with her, than I have solo since I got this bike in March...

my problem is, she encourages me too much ! Neutral

I'm already going pretty much as quickly as I'm comfortable, but she says I can accelerate harder if I want (generaly cruising speed and cornering speeds she's happy with, just thinks I could acceleerate a bit faster now Neutral )

I regulary take my girlfriend pillion, always worried about her on the back, but she loves bikes and wouldn't get off if she had the choice. One day she will have own bike though, so not too bad then. However when taking riders on the back, i am shit scared, because im worried about them criticising my driving a lot. Just me being paranoid i think though Razz

Every time i take my girlfriend out on the bike.. which is allot of the time (no car)

Think i have taken most of my female friends out on one of the bikes at some point...

I used to go out on my dads CD125 every week, used to help him gardening, i only spent the weekend sweeping wet leaves because i got to go on the bike Smile thought it was the coolest thing in the world... so its all his fault! Very Happy

So when they want their own bike you'll not be able to complain!

I dont ride like a loon very often, i just have to remember they are there cause sometimes its easy to forget Shocked

Little sister for a few hundred yards, with no pillion pegs, no helmets or anything. Had to rev the bike about twice as high to get it to move, and the rear suspension had about an inch of travel left if it was lucky. Laughing
