I've just brought another set of carbs for my poor FZR250, I've had her for about 3 years and shes probably only ran for 10 minutes in total so nows the time to put her back together, the old carbs had been well and truly messed about with so its been hard trying to get them set up properly enough to get it running! I think they are almost there but probably easier to try another set for now, I've had some impressive backfires and she ran for a few seconds on easy start so I know its just the carbs that are the problem, anyway I brought another set of a running bike so will give them a go, just annoying as I have to go away on work for a few days and all I want to be doing is tinkering on the garage! anyway just thought i'd share my excitment man i love that petrolly carb smell Laughing

they are currently downstairs in the kitchen annoying the BF I'll keep you posted and wish me luck! vrooommmmmm (i hope)

right an update she is now running woop woop! but the battery has had it so off to get another one tomorrow, then in for Mot fingers crossed. anyway she sounded sweet although decided to rev her bits off when first started and nearly gave me a heart attack, but all sorted and lots of smoke later she is running fine. I remembered how much i hate the standard airbox so plan to do something about that in the near future, other than that alls good and i'm so chuffed. big fingers up to those people round me who didn't think it would run again....Ha!!!
