I have an Honda NSR 125, when i fill him up, do i have to do anything with the fuel tap before and after refilling???

im sure someone said to me one time to turn it onto reserve when filling up.... then turn it on when your complete...

someone give me some advice, ive just been leaving the fuel tap on.

just leave the tap on the "on" postion, the reseve is just means your bike runs from the bottom of the tap (bottom of tank) in the on postion the tap takes fuel from about 2 inches up from the bottom of the tank.

Yea, Apprentice Electrician Razz but I don't think they trust me with a hoover yet Laughing Last time I hoovered up the motor went pop and smoke went everywhere Shifty so it's dustpan & brush from now Thumbs Up

i'll tell u one thing, leave the hoover aside, use a brush on the carpets and brush into a pile, then hoover the pile. saves alot of backache if the hoover has no end to it.

We have a little Henry ... cool Smile

Ive only been doing it 3 months. Not doing too bad

We are mainly upgrading / rewiring houses.

I can do lights ~ switches ~ sockets ~ smokes ~ mains ~ im getting there Smile

I've been doing a lot of testing & inspections.. bit boring at times, but has its perks.. i.e. testing two lifts in a four story buiding.. quite interesting going "behind the scenes" of how lifts work etc..

Rewiring blocks of flats stair well lighting , good job I guess but flats are a shit hole and flats means stairs, apprentice means running up and down getting stuff Rolling Eyes Mr. Green

hehe... you should bring everything that you need in, then you dont have to run in and out Smile

we usually re-wire a house in one day, now is that taking the total piss or what?

Hours totally suck... 8 - 4:30, most of the time we finish at 5,

another thing, I HATE THE LOFT !!!!!!!!!! it is the worst thing ever invented, i hate it more than anything! FIBREGLASS ARGH! Mad

So, back on-topic, and away from Jon's "man-riding" and strange hoover activities....


.. you only have 1 tank. Inside that are 2 petrol intake straws. One is longer than the other, the shorter of which is your reserve.

What you do with the selector switch whilst refueling makes no difference.

So you can twiddle with your Henry's nob as much as you like! Shocked Laughing
