Well another biker died today, only a few hundred metres away from where i was working.

On the m6 in between junctions 11-12 by gailey, a biker was killed after a car hit him.

Not sure how it happened but im sure we shall find out in a day or 2.

Rest in peace.

Don't wamt to sound like a git but I bet the last car crash you heard about didn't stop you from going in cars, or the last pedestrian death didn't stop you from crossing the road. Unfortunately riding is dangerous.

Ride safe people Thumbs Up

I'll probably take a slagging for this but...

So?

I don't like to hear of bikers dying but I also don't want to see posts about it either. If you didn't know him/her why post it?

I'm sure a lot of people died today but to me it's just Friday.

A bloke got t boned around the corner from my house this week and had both his legs broke but I didn't start a thread about it!

People die everyday and I don't worry about it and try to bring people down over strangers deaths.

Shall I get my local rag and post the entire obituary? No? Why? Because you couldn't give a sh1t because they might not of owned bikes?

For all I know that person who died could have been a rapist. Just because he owned a bike doesn't make him a decent person who deserved to live. Don't expect sympathy for complete strangers from me.

Stop gossiping and post something better.

Dude so harsh! He may or may not have been a rapist but he did belong to the minority that you chose to belong to out of personal choice as oppose to accident.
Its a classic case of if you don't like the thread, why fuck it up for the people who do? You didn't need to post, nor did I, or would I. Leave it for those who care.

Just having my say, Bomberman. I stand by what I said. If people don't want an opinion they don't want to read, then don't put these things on the 'net. Easy.

Maybe Korn could start a 'unknown bikers obituary' forum for the morbid c*nts in here. Rolling Eyes

No real need to suggest the dead guy was a rapist though really. Ordinarily I'll leave these threads be, but for some they work. I'm just saying leave them alone mate. Again. No need to be mean I guess mate.

He wasn't, he was simply pointing out that owning/riding a bike doesn't automatically make you a wonderful human being.

I also have to agree with Flip. Although it is sad hearing that people have died doing something we all enjoy, we didn't know him. And, yes, hundreds of people die every day.

But, if someone on here and said that they had lost a close friend, or if someone on BCF had an accident, that would be a little different.

I dont think we need a thread for every single person that doesn't make it after having an accident.

If I started up a new thread saying that I'd read an article in the paper about someone being killed in an accident in outer mongolia, would everyone start posting RIP to the rider?

Yes it is sad to hear, but do we honest need a thread for everyone?

Thumbs Up

I agree about the random bike accident threads, what's the point. Just to remind everyone how dangerous it is and we're probably gonna die if we crash? You're as bad as the authorities, we don't need it ramming down our throat, if we wanted to know about them we'd look them up in the news.

If it's personal friends on here (not best mates' dad's cousin) then that's fair enough because I'm sure we'd want to know so we can wish them well and even go and see them, otherwise, give it a break.

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 20 years, 251 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
