Hi,

I'm just wondering, does the CDI unit off a K4/K5 GSXR750 work in the K4/K5 GSXR600. The reason I ask is that I bought a CDI on ebay and the guy told me it'll fit into a 600.

Thanks,

Joey Embarassed

i personaly doubt it since my understanding is the cdi is specific to the engine charactoristics of the bike down to cam profile and fuel map, hardly likely to be the same across 2 engines when the 97 tl engine needs a different cdi from the 98 one.

check the serial numbers are close and paypal it so you can get your money back

that really sucks mate Mad the guy said it will fit into a 600 which is true but I doubt it will make the engine start and run can only agree with epz and say sell it and get your money back
