When someone has stopped and thier helmet is by their back tyre it means they have broken down.
Also another police thing is to swirl your finger round like a siren. |

A raised hand with a clenched fist with an upright middle index finger usually means " Fuck off " , e.g. ____________________ GSXR 1100 StreetFighter |

Arm out straight with horizontal arm means slow down; could be police, speed trap or other hazard (ie accident in the road).
While I would take a thumbs down (Or thumbs up) as well as swirled finger to mean police ahead.
A trucker giving me a thumbs up has saved me a couple of times . |

I generally use the 'waving the finger around like a siren' signal to other bikers...shame they don't bloody signal at all to tell me there are coppers sitting at every roundabout on the way home from work!

So, basically any waving of hands means slow down?
Giving someone the thumbs up when you see them sat at the side of the road and them responding with thumbs up or down depending on whether they've broken down or not is another. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Upon riding up next to some fine looking tart in a car:
Tap on the drivers window, point at your crotch & then at the side of the road. This indicates to the female that you'd like her to pull over & blow you senseless... And yes, it does work..
..however, it was my gf who was in the car
(waiting for some smartass to ask who was on the bike...) |

If there's a big pothole or bad road surface i'll go around it and point, so the bike behind me knows.
I do the whirling of the finger for fuzz, unless they are close and might see it, then i wave my arm low.
I open and close hand to tell someone their indicator is still on.
I do nod at other bikers, but if theres alot of them i stick my leg out **NOTE Do not do this if another bike maybe about to overtake you**
If someone pulls over to let me past on the road, i'll flash my indicators one at a time to say thanks.
And when a lorry driver beeps his horn at me i usually blow him a kiss xxx ____________________ https://www.bebo.com/Z1000-Wildkat |
