You can return it to the shop you bought it from as long as its still under warrenty, the shop will then send it to the manufacturer and they will sort it if it is there fault.

The shop only gives a 30-day garuntee. and i will need a helmet to use if they take mine?

Plus it has been dropped once (this is not the cause of the crappy visor)

I shall try phoning the shop tomorrow if i can get a chance.

Return it to the shop you bought it from as "not fit for the purpose intended" as is your entitlement under the sale of goods act.

I certainly don't think it is unreasonable to expect a visor to last for more than three months of normal use. Obviously, if it broke through misuse that is another story but in the case of a manufacturing defect, they are obliged to replace it.

The above applies to any goods you buy in the UK.

I think there's a warranty given by the manufacturer (anyone) concerning their products (anyone). Unless you have had misusage of the helmet, there's no reason for not replace the bad part by a new one during the product's warranty. This is what the warranty is for: To make sure the helmet is good and it will serve you for a certain period without problems under correct use. Try to get back to shop you bought the helmet and ask them for replacement or for instructions to get a new part for free.

30day guarantee!!!!! Thats bollox!!! THE LAW gives you a 12 month one (actually its up to 6years), and thats with the shop who sold you the goods NOT the manufacturer. It is the shop who deals with them.

Don't let them give you grief.

The rest is as Stinkwheel sez. Thumbs Up
