Bike transporters...any recomendations

Hopefully i will be buying a bike from Edinburgh, just wondered whether anyone can recommend any companies that would pick up and deliver the bike.

Was wondering wether it would be cheaper to rent a van and do it myself or get someone to do it for me.

Any help would be great!

Hi

I used a bloke from ebay, well, i didnt but the chap who brought my last bike of me did. He lived in scotland too. Sorry i cant remember the name of the company, but i'm sure there still on ebay, brilliant packaging round the bike when they put it on the van, there were six other bikes going to scotland that day too.

any idea how much it is to get a bike moved say 300 odd miles, i see loads of cheap hacks on ebay but most are down in england and last time i rode a bike home from durham i could hardly walk after.
