So, any interest in push bike stuff (yes, bikes without internal combustion engines Razz)?

Would ideally be planning to go along to something like this if there's another one organised this summer, from looking at the pictures it (IMO) looks very like a interesting day. Lots of good photos to be taken I'd expect, although it does look slightly dangerous taking pictures Laughing with lots of general daftness/crazyness to see. On a pushbike forum according to one of the people behind the last one there's another one this summer. Smile

Either something like that or there are places around like Penhurst Offroad Club who have large hills for you to throw yourself down, or types of places MX riding happens, ie heathland/woods/open space with hills and interesting things.

Anyone interested then? Mr. Green

Would be interested in some pushbike arsing around, I haven't ridden mine for ages so probably a good idea to make an effort to in terms of fitness. Come to think of it I might try and see if I've got room to bring it to Cadwell Thinking

Been meaning to sort out a push bike for ages.

If I do, I would be up for some stupidity.

I dug my old pushbike out a few months ago, pumped up the tyres etc.. Haven't ridden it for 8 odd years. Whoever came up with "it's just like riding a bike" is a complete moron, I managed to fall off several times; one being me attempting to countersteer going around a corner & ending up in a bush.

Have been eyeing up a recumbant pushbike recently, looks quite fun.

Had a go on the birds bike a few weeks ago, fcuk me they dont half turn quick! Swooped in on the racing line, bum off the seat, countersteered, nearly did a bloody U turn and ended up on my arse!

Gears, bloody hell, 6 is enough to think about never mind 21!

Don't even get me started on the brakes!

You would love my bike rick

Hydraulic disc brakes front and back!

lethal things!

Suppose they are needed to stop my imense body mass from such speeds as 25mph.

My push-bike brakes are better then my CG125 brakes.

Ive got 4 pot Shimano XT's front and back with 205mm rotor in front and 160mm behind.

Come to think of it they are about the same size (diameter) as my car brakes and its a big heavy diesel.

I would like to do some green laneing on the old bike but don't want to do any urban crazy shit its only an XC bike after all Sad
