Hold the front brake on hard, lean forward to take some weight off the back wheel (standing up) and give it some welly. The consequences aren't my fault. Laughing

Or get someone who's done them on an NSR (or any bike which can spin up on anything other than gravel/ mud) to tell you.

Make sure your feet are planted and knees are tightly against the side of the bike. The back may spin out otherwise.

Once you've got the hang off standing ones you can try slowly letting the brake out, then getting on the back as it starts to move a bit. You wanting to be standing up leaning forward.

However to do it 'properly' you need to start at a walking pace, then stand up and put pressure on the front. Pull the power on as you increase the front break pressure. You will probably need to use the clutch; probably best to start by slipping it. Slip the clutch as you increase revs until it stalls or starts to slip. If it stalls you need to slip more. Becareful though, as this sorta thing kills clutches. Once you get used to it you can slip for a lot less time or even just 'twang it'.
On my zx9 which is powerful and downgeared I don't need to use the clutch at all; just pull the power on while increasing front brake pressure; that is a lower redline in first than most 600s and 143hp though Smile.

also (depending on surface) you can just dump the clutch with both feet on the ground and it goes for miles, But if you drop it, i didnt tell you to do it Razz

front brake in, stand up. about 10k (on my rs at leasst to do it easily)

let the clutch out progressively. so it loads the fron then the back spins. if you dump the clutch the bike may wheely!
