I've heard Kawasaki are thinking of giving all customers a foldable A2 sheet of cardboard and a permanant marker - For hitchhiking purposes only. Wink

Phone, money, bike cover, chain, toolkit (case with socket set + screw drivers, pliers etc), pen, paper, camera, tuffmap.

If I'm going somewhere rather than just a circuit, I'll take my spanners, adjustable spanner, footpump and tyre pressure gauge.

Enough to take the wheels off and adjust the chain tension. Also suitable equipment to tighten up anything which gets loose as it frequently does on my bike.

I always take my phone in case of break down, sometimes money, but often forget and run out of petrol Doh!. Always got my wallet, which has my bank card in and my provisional in. Thats about it. Sometimes I'll use my jacket to bring home portions of chips and stuff. Insulated jacket! Thumbs Up

Usually my green backpack containg these things

Arrow AA Map
Arrow usually 2 packets of crisps and chocolate
Arrow 500ml bottle of coke or robinsons
Arrow Waterproofs, plasters and cable ties

In my pocket - house keys, wallet (inc AA Card), loose change

I like to be prepared when i decide to go on anything more than a 50 mile treck on my own.

100 mile ride ... wallet with aa card + money and phone

100+ the same + tank bag, big bottle of water, camera if i remember, tools, nibbles, spare tshit, thermal gloves, warm packs various rubbish

when i went up to my girlfriends at uni i'd take loads of stuff for some reason, not use half of it... i'm one of theose freaks that needs to take a teliscopic weasel grooming kit just in case i needed it...

My ZX6R only had problem when I caused them, can't say it broke or stopped working just randomly, if you don't look after bikes then they do break. Razz

Money (or at least cards) and mobile phone with breakdown company's number in it. More than likly a random selection of allen keys, zip ties and spanners would be under the seat. Rather than maps I'd sort out directions from using the AA's route planner on there website and print those out to take, or I'd just get slightly lost instead of all that.
