after 3 weeks of pain i decided to go to A & E this morning. I hert my arm 3 weeks ago in footie training, it hert every time i used the clutch and saved goals , so i have broke a bone on my hand , and got a cast , its well annoying , CANT RIDE FOR 3 WEEKS nooooooooo

but i get 3 weeks off work Very Happy

Which bone? I presume you fell on an outstretched hand?

im a goal keeper saved a Goal wich was blasted at me from 8 yards at about 60 mph , propper thumper thats how it happend

and i dont know what bone it was but all i know she pressed near my thum and i yelped and she said " HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" i think........ ect..

ill try find out what it called

i just went out side to see if i could still pull my clutch in with the cast on , hell no, so i thought ill sit down and play guitar HELL No

Your lucky Sad when I broke my arm the cast was upto my shoulder.
They changed my cast twice 2nd one was tighter than before it killed me so much when I had an itch Laughing

Nasty part about it was they cut a square out of the cast where the bone popped out of my skin and a nurse came round everyday for 2 months cleaning the wound didnt mind though she looked sexy Smile

cant be,a broken scaphoid needs a lot longer than 3 weeks in plaster...mine was 12 weeks.

Only 12 weeks? mine was in & out of plaster for FIVE FUCKING YEARS before they did a bone graft & screwed it together...

mine too mate,but they did my op right from the start..hence the 12 weeks....now its physio to get it moving again.

All old bones take longer to heal, and often heal less well. Old bones are stronger, but more brittle and less flexible. The spongy 'soft' bone tissue at the centre of bones solidifies in elderly people and calcifies. Ergo, no give in the bones, eventually they'll just snap rather than bend.

At least that's the way I remember it.
