Hey folks, well as the title suggests, i have some questions for the experienced folk here,

ok setting off is fine no probs on the ninja, but, coming to a stop was bloody strange, the mito used to be fine clutchless at VERY low speed, then just before coming to a stop i would pull the clutch in, but why on this beast does it stall at low revs? ie, im slowing down, almost coming to a stop, then it stalls! is it vital on these bike to use clutch during low speeds?

cheers

The longer the 1st gear is the more necessary it will be to slip the clutch at low speeds. The Mito would have had a tiny 1st gear so you wouldn't have needed a clutch even at low speeds, the Ninja I would guess can break any speed limit in first gear, hence the need for lots of clutch slippage as you'll be doing lower revs at low speed than on the Mito.

Tick over may be too low! I can easily ride around at tickover on the 600, dont see how yours would be too different!

Clutch adjusted ok?
Does it rev up cleanly from idle?

Even on mine it can pull from 1500 rpm you just have to be precise when coming on the throttle, and it's a 400cc!
