Kawasaki Zephyr 550cc (1991, b2 model)

It's a Kawasaki Zephyr 550cc (colour: red), year 1991

Generally in good condition for it's age with only a slight dent & scratch at 2 points on the end can of the exhaust itself and a very tiny indentation of the fuel tank and can only be seen if the light just shines on it at the correct angle. The tail end of the rear fender on the left side was repaired and it hasn't given anymore trouble since then, and the front fender has a slight scratch to the front right edge at the corner. The above mentioned damage was due to coming across black ice at a low speed while cornering and prior to that it was in perfect showroom condition.

The carbs were thoroughly cleaned just over a month ago and it has a K&N air filter fitted last Summer while it went through a gearbox overhaul and the work was carried out by Ride On Motorcycles, Glasgow, the original sellers of the bike.

The front wheel bearings were replaced for it to pass a recent MOT in early April and, therefore, almost a full years MOT certificate still remaining on it. Also road taxed until end of March, 2006.

Earlier this May was newly fitted rear Hagon shocks

The tyres still have several millimetres of tread on them.

It has a decent alarm fitted but not insurance recognised except it will make those little idiots any where think twice about coming back to disturb the bike.

The bike hasn't been ridden much over the winter except to keep it ticking over and more recently just the odd trips to nearby shops.

The reasons are for selling is that I will be moving to USA this year to a marry an american girl from California that I have known for a very long time.

I originally bought the bike just over a year ago for £1,700 and taking in consideration for the slight damage mentioned earlier and travelling done on the bike, plus parts just recently replaced I will be looking to sell it for about;

I think it's just someone else uploaded a piccy and called it "bike1.jpg", so it overwrote the Zephyr one.
