Hi,

I have a feeling that my G500 is restricted. I have had a look at the carbs, and can't really I say I know what I am looking for, but does this look like the restrictor to you?

take the carburettors off the engine and see if there are an washers in the inlet stubs.

those don't look like standard sliders/diaphragms.

Can't see any washers on the other side of the carbs (see pics). There is a balck pastic bit in the top of the carbs and goes down in to the carbs (with a pin through the middle) and seems to block the intake from the air filter box, although there is a little gap but not a lot.

I think what you need to look for is something that stops the slider in the carb from coming all the way up!

Err, dont want to sound thick but those look like CV carbs to me, so there wont be any slides, just butterfly valves which you can see in the second pics. The needle will be fixed in the carb from the top and is probably what that 'pin' was that you mentioned.

/edit and no they dont look restricted
