you gotta love 125s

I thought i would say owning a NSR125 kicks ass. Cheap tax (£15 a year) i get 60miles to £4 and its cheap to repair. I think i done the right thing getting rid of my metro and getting my bike. 3 best things about being on a bike

Yeah I miss my 125 too.

A chain and sprocket set was only £20 on my CG, everything was sooo cheap, even a replacement engine was £95.

Now with the Kawasaki it uses more fuel and everything is 4 times the price of the CG.

Ohh and the CG did 110mpg, which was good.

The Kawasaki is about 50mpg.

But.... I couldn't shoot to the front of the lights and burn off at speed, I had to sort of go to front and then sit in front of the car.

RG125 is a nice bike but i hate the RD. Been trying for 3 weeks to get my mates RD running right it just not having it. Should of got a NSR tho

110 !!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL!!!

Honda NSR 125R 1998 model ( R Reg ) Imorted from Germany.

Look at the coulour scheme...

I had it derestricted by this bike place by mine...

It did 60 with the restriction, now derestricted it feels more powerfuller but yet it gets 70 - 75 mph TOP SPEED.

Is this normal for the imports to be slower than the UK Spec?

Its not really doing 110. That realistically is about 100, maybe just under, because I know my RD does an indicated 95, but thats about 87 realistically. Never believe what the clocks are showing, unless your riding a restricted 50, then you can believe it is accurate.

i can promise you it has not been derestricted. You should be able to pull 90 with ease! Maybe you got shit in your carbs? Also your RC Valve could be blocked up or not set up right.
