...you got the standing up hairs on the back of your neck feeling because of your bike?

You know the moments that make you think "i frickin love haveing a bike!"

Just started the bike up after fiting its new end cans on... bloody hell it sounds good Mr. Green i'd have probably lept on and gone for a spin if there was any brakes attached Razz Nearly there...

Another was rideing down the m6 from the lakes morning sun just comeing up, beautiful clear sky, totaly empty road, cruiseing allong with a full tank of petrol, amazeing views.. should have stopped to take a picture! (don't sound very exciteing but it really was stunning, everything else in the world just faded away...)

What about the rest of you? when did you last get that buzz?

erm well over a year ago, but then thats because i havnt ridden any bike for well over a year! When i recently took my zx6r about 1.5miles down the road for the MOT and tyres to be changed, i just thought how wierd does this bike feel! I couldnt get comfy or ride smoothly, and i was pulling away everywhere at 5000rpm unintentionaly.
I need to get used of my bike again now, and im considering joining my local IAM group, as they have rideouts most sundays, and when i pass my IAM test, maybe i'll get a bit knocked off next years insurance?

This past weekend. I was following Suzuki and Annabella (in a car) on my bike down the A5 which was stacked with traffic, when the other side of the road just emptied. Queue me doing a ton down the side of all this traffic for what seemed like miles. I kept expecting to suddenly see some traffic coming the other way which would force me back on to my side of the road, but it just never seemed to happen.

Had a huge grin on my face and did some roundabout surfing to celebrate. Admittedly I did get lost straight after this, but we won't talk about that Laughing

I get that rush everytime I exit a particular corner on the A30. Smile

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

today, stopped at traffic lights... joy boy reving his engine to race me off the lights....Amber BRUMMM he stalls HA! waved as i went off in the distance.

Also had a bad "rush" as i had it cranked over on a roundabout when suddenly a white van had stopped, had to pull it upright, went to brake, knew i didnt have time so had to go round again.

Shame was nice roundabout to get it cranked over on... did it again with no probs later that day Very Happy

Steve.

Most times I go out. But the last time I had a real 'moment' was last year on the Ullapool to Durness road when I found myself hitting the redline in fifth on my GPZ500s on a sweeping left hander over a river. Reached down to change up and couldn't get my foot under the gearshift, too close to the road and I am doing 105mph on a bridge!

That road gives me wood Thumbs Up
