Who can tell me what this number plate says?

This is the only picture I have of a Ford Fiesta that pulled out on my mum yesterday. She didn't get any details from him, but we believe he lives in the Bolton area. Her bike hasn't been seen by the insurers yet, but it pretty well smashed up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. All I have been able to get is ???? P?K, but that is hardly useful.

I assume those are the highest res pictures you have?

The damage to the front of the car should make it easier to spot if there's any doubt though (assuming you see it again).

They were taken by a passer by, on their phone. So unfortunatly they are the only pictures I have. I just thought that someone may have a good piece of software which would show at least one or 2 more letters for the insurance company to go by.

and it looks like it ends in PVK.

First letter looks like a Y, and the last 3 PVK. Can't make out any numbers though.

wouldnt b surprised if its been stolen.
the insurers will be able to look on the vehichle database for red focus's with the two letters that you can identify and the police will check any (should do anyway) to see if any has matching frontal damage

Think about it, far too new car to be K.

An estimate it's probably 99 or 98, so more like S or T or something along those lines.

If you squint your eyes a bit it looks like Y614 PVK.

It's a focus not a fiesta. They are focus wheels, and the shape isn't right for the new fiesta.

I checked our work focus and it comes up as 5 door hatchback.
