Anyone know anything about these bikes?

Are they 4 stroke jobbies?

How would it compare to a CG125

It is for all intents and purposes a cg125...

Same engine, most parts the same, only differences are the disc brake and the unusualy rare tyres that are apparently nigh on impossible to get appart from one maker (can't remember who)

There allright...

Personally i'd have a cb125 for a 4stroke, they are 15bph or so which is the max you can have anyway..

Or maybe an nsr125 thats had a top end rebuild recently...

Maybe look out for an MZ125, indestructable and a little bit more poke than a 4 and a bit more sturdy than an nsr..

The varadero is not a bad 125, bit pricey but if you get a bargain one they are very good, flat power delivery, very strong brakes (compared to my cg and my cx Very Happy ) theres one or two people have gone touring on the,. which is a good sign, i'd not have done that with my 125 or many others!

Allot depends on what style of bike you'd prefer and how long you plan on getting it..

If you want to get on the road quick then a cg125, wont loose you any money unless you bin it, its very unlikely to go wrong if you feed it oil and petrol...

If your going to keep it 2 years then you might want to spend a bit more...

They're not cg125 engines if I remember correctly. They use the same engine as the XLR 125 (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong).

They are brilliant little bikes, if you really rag the hell out of them you should get about 60mph although I prefer to treat mine with a little more respect and usually don't go over 50mph. Only yesterday I got 178 miles out of a tank which cost £7.50 to fill up again.

They are very comfortable to ride because they absorb even the worst roads with no problems whatsoever.

All in all I think they're better than CG's, SR's and all other courier type bikes, I'd also have one over the CB 125 any day. It all depends what you want it for really but if you buy one you can't really go wrong.

Oh remember to change the oil around every 1000 miles.

Just like to add that the standard tyres for them are Pirelli MT60's, however getting other tyres to fit isn't a problem despite what Zero said, well not at my small local dealers anyway. As far as I can remember Dunlop do tyres that fit as well as other smaller compaies such as your budget Korean ones.

I've had mine for 5 years now and apart from last year I rode it every day and it hasn't let me down once.

Hope this helps.
