I dont actully know how to change the front bulbs its probably best you wait for a reply from G, Kris, Kornel or Zimma..... If your thinking of getting some blue bulbs id make sure your completley legal e.g. l-plates etc... your a lot more likley to be pulled over with them on because they grab a lot more attention than standard lights....

Come on lads help the lady out and tell her how to do the bulbs..

i changed mine to 35's and the simplest way is to remove the speedo unit with a (10mm?) socket, unscrew with speedo cable (on the left) but leave the electrical cables in and move the speedo unit to the left when doing the right bulb, and vice-versa.
BUT, the rubber things are bloody fiddly so make sure you've set yourself loads of time, and have couple of small screwdrivers handy for when putting the rubber covers back on.
Good luck!

the original 25w bulbs are poo, especially when going down foggy lanes at night! Confused
I was surprised at how much difference switching to the 35w bulbs made, it's well worth it.
nothing compared to a standard bulb 'big bike' but for the price they're essential. Honda should be sued by anyone who crashes as a result of the original lights!

Why me?
I never had one of those fancy new NSR's Razz, so no idea how to do it Smile.

Be carefull you don't get too powerfull bulbs though ... apparantly they can kill batteries.

you can can change the bulbs without having to move the clocks, just unscrew your speedo cable from the bottom of the clocks and pull the rubber bits off the back of the lights but it is a fiddly job so it might just be easier to unscrew the clocks and move them but its worth a try.

i think the nsr uses bosch fitting bulbs (BA20D). if im right you cant buy the ordinary blue halogen bulbs such as the philips as far as i know but you can buy conversion bulbs from beedspeed that fit the bosch fittin, these are halogen bulbs and you can get em in clear, blue, yellow or white Smile
quite a bit more expensive than the standard but i cant find anything similar anywere else.

yeah, it's the standard (for honda's small bikes) and the max i found for the bosch fitting is 35w
I had no problem with my battery, and that was with an alarm/immobiliser too.
