I got my bike back today, (after a month in the garage), following the accident I had where a car shunted me.

Now, the rear repairs were all carried out fine...it's fixed.

The point is...I crashed my bike about 6 months ago, my fault, only me involved, and I knackered my headlight trim and instrument casing, as well as scraped up the clutch.
The garage have replaced the first two, and sprayed the clutch black !! Mr. Green
Now..I told them what was broken in the recent insurance crash, and did not at any time mention the front of the bike.
The bike was not dropped, etc... so that damage was clearly not relevant.

I signed the garage paperwork today to say I was 'happy with the repairs', and indeed I am happy...very happy Thumbs Up Wink

If..when the paperwork, bill, etc.. goes back to the insurance companies involved, these repairs get picked at, I won't have to pay will I ?
It's their own stupid fault for fixing them, yes ?

One of the benefits of being in an insured crash. You can chuck in any other quick repairs at the same time.

'You couldn't change my brake fluid could you, I think the crash has knackered it!'

Friend of mine broke a windscreen by having a car - pheasant interface.

Was later shutted up the rear, funny how that tends to break windscreens.

I think that's fairly standard Jodie, and the garage get paid, they're more than happy to do it, and your insurance company won't be too worried by a couple more quid onto your lil CG.
