Well this morning me and my friend was taveling to church on our mopeds, along the hemel hempstead road towards rebourn, when we turned onto the hemel hempstead road there was a lot of traffic cops, but these was for a mini marathon that was taking part on the road, there was traffic cones taking up half of the other side of the road so the cars were pulling on to my side. I held my position when i was faced with a 4 by 4 with a huge wide load horse trailer my friend passed through with great ease and i pulled over about 15 inches to give it just enough space so that its wing mirrors would not hit my head and it passed as i looked behind me to my blind spot to check there was no stray runners behind me then i hit a curb, it was dug out from the road so to let a drain collect water, and my bike landed on the grass and i flew about 8 metres away on to the head on traffic i went sliding down the road on my head and tried to grab the road with my hands, but there was no luck two cars skidded to not hit me and they didnt, an ambulance was called as i was hurt and they checked me over and i have hurt my left knee cut my shoulder quite deep and i cant walk that well, but the paramedics said to me after that i am.........."Lucky to be alive", thank god for 3 things, helmets, heavy duty gloves and fast ambulance drivers who were there within minutes.

P.S. Sorry for the lack of spelling and grammar etc, im still a bit shook up.

Thankfully no broken bones then. Is the bike in running order still? Here's wishing a rapid recovery. Thumbs Up
