Moto GP soooooooo predictable!

Well it was, after the excitement of the first race I expected the season to be full of great races but I thought yesterdays F1 GP was more exciting than the MotoGP yesterday....

In fact, the 250's race was so much better. I think Rossi should be banned for a few weeks to put some more excitement into the races. He was toying with Sete the full race....

Banning rossi for a few weeks wont make any difference he is 58 points infront of Melandri, 68 points infront of Biaggi and in 4th position Giberneau is behind by 72 points so all those three riders will have to finish 1st for 2 races to be near to rossi. (if thats 25 points for 1st)

Like the commentators were saying "the only way they will beat rossi is if he rides a 250cc" Laughing

Races like Jerez, Estoril, Le mans, Muggelo and Circut de Catalunya were great and far from boring. (imo)

Cant wait till Assen. The track was purpose built for the Dutch TT in 1954

And i think there is plenty of excitment in moto gp with rossi then without. Wink

Yeah fair enough the guy is amazing but you don't want it turning into 1 guy wins all, thats what happened with Schumacher in F1 and it was dire to watch...

the barros, hayden, melandri battle was quite good fun. Shame it wasn't the battle for the lead though.

it's amazing how much better Sete and Rossi are than the rest of the field.

Even though rossi wins it every time, i still think MOTOgp is better than ever! So what if he wins everytime? he still makes the GP as good as it is. Without Rossi, who would add that bit of "character" to it?

Is anybody going to the GP this year?

Personally, I loved the battling between Gibernau and Melandri! I seriously thought they were gonna take each other out! Shocked

I must have missed all of the above or maybe I was still in awe of the 250's....

That race just didnt have me out my seat like I hoped it was going to. Sete gave up on getting back at Rossi. Wimp.

the 250's were the best, they were all close until loads of people fell off

As soon as they said what tyres Sete and Rossi were on I predicted the result - down the the lap. And I was right. Thats not exciting racing at all, it's boring.

I'm a big MotoGP fan, but I'm tired of each race being the same. Rossi battles for the lead for the first 2/3 laps then sits in 2nd for the rest of the race. 3 laps to go he overtakes and wins. Yay.

Yes there was a half decent battle further back but I'd rather see 3 or 4 folk all up there going for a win and not the same rider picking up max points every outing...

Yes, I did watch the whole race. There were some good battles further down the field, but when the front is so predictable it does take the shine off it.

I have to agree that yesterday, the F1 was more exciting than the MotoGP.

I'm with cc and McJam on this one. I did enjoy the race for the battle for third which was fantastic, but the inevitability of a Rossi win after happily trundling along in 2nd for the main part of the race is getting a bit boring. What we need is more racing like Jerez and a proper fight for the championship. Thumbs Up

And the F1 was pretty good, very unpredictable that's for sure. Good to see Raikonnen get a win and Alonso go out, in terms of the championship. Wonder if BAR are ever going to get any points this year. Laughing

May I suggest another possibility? It might well be that Rossi being Italian and Schumacher being German is part of the reason some people find dominance in a sport boring... Would you really object in the same way if, say, England were to win the next three or four football world cups (assuming for the sake of argument you're English)? My guess is most people wound't; I don't see the Brazilians shedding too many tears over this. Then again I am Italian and I do enjoy seeing Rossi win -- and in my opinion it's only fitting as he's both very talented and a nice guy.
