Right im not 100% sure on this but...

Most sealed headlight units (like the NSR) will have a screw type fitting on the top, sometimes in the form of a srew, sometimes in the form of a alan key bolt. Putting a screw driver / alan key on this fitting, and rotating it in one direction will either raise / lower the beam.

The way i check is to wait till dark, move my bike to about 5meters away from a flat wall, and turn the lights on, go to the wall, and draw a line where my waist is, then adjust my lights to be just around that line... that to me is near enough the legal requirements and has seen me through 2 MoT's. Although i got a feeling i may have a problem with my next MoT... damn bike Wink

But im not 100% sure about the NSR adjustment... so maybe someone else can confirm / slate that idea? Laughing

yeh I've had a look, means I'm going to have to take the unit off the bike to do it what a pain in the arse. Do I need to turn each screw by the same number of turns, does each bolt adjust an individual light?

put your bike about 3-4 yards in front of a wall on a flat surface , put somebody on the seat . make a mark on the wall where the lights meet . then move the adjusters , and you will see the spot on the wall moving . thightening the lower screw will move the headlight up but also right . thightening the upper screw will do the reverse . i will definitly go for inserting 2 or 3 washers at the 2 lower fixing , this will move the site without moving azimuth
