Which SIDI boots - Vert 2 or Vert Race Carbon?

Hi,

Which boots would you recommend?

Sidi Vertebra 2 or Vertebra Race Carbon?

Have heard the race carbons are on the narrow side...

Any advice appreciated.

I dont know much about the vertebra....i reccoment Vertigo's though. I have the vertigo's!

Tried on the vertebras in local shop.

Didnt have a chance to try on the carbons as they were going cheap on eBay...

Vertigos - Nice, but bit too pricy for me....

I got the Vertigo Corsas, and I love them, well worth the £180 I paid for 'em, espically the ceramic toe sliders.

Not sure which ones I got, but I got them on fit, rather than looks .

They aren't that great off road though, zip come undone from the bottom and one of the fishing-wire turney bits has semi broken.

Beware of Vertigo Corsas if you ride with the ball of your feet on the pegs.
The hinged spine that runs up the inside of the ankle can hook onto the heel plate on some bikes and lock your foot in place so you have to lift it upwards before you can move it to change gear or use the back brake.

I got a full refund on mine because on a Honda cbr600 they hook on to the heel plate and are simply dangerous.

Apparantly a lot have been returned for the exact same reason too, so its a common complaint.
