CB400 super four

Hi,

anybody ridden one? I'm wondering what the performance would be like in comparison to more sporty 400s like the cbr/vfr....

I know a lad with one, they look OK. And use the same engine as the CBR400 albeit with abit of trickery on the engine to make it look aircooled.

So it should be relatively reliable, and tis light so it should be quick-ish too.

The CBR 400 has gear driven cams the CBsf has a cam chain and is quite a bit down on power from the CBR. They are often quite over priced too for what they are anyway. Riding position is much like the hornet as is they styling.[/quote]

yeah newer ones seem to go for too much, but its the same with all the 400s if you ask me....

I'd just seen a couple going for decent prices, less than the sports 400s but newer and in better nick... no plastic to damage, no dated graphics... seem like a decent buy but not if the performance is alot weaker. I think it'll be better than my current GS500 right?

air cooled 500cc twin vs. liquid cooled 4 cylinder 400cc? place your bets... Smile
