I've been to the hospital and found out my wrist is broken. I sneaked a look at my x-rays before i walked back to the doctor and the smaller bone on the outside of my arm has broken. The doctor was a bit of a cunt about it too Sad

It's too swollen at the min so only got a half pot on, gotta to back monday morning to get a full one on.

Did i meantion i hate buses? and hospitals? and pots? and car drivers? and 5am?

a minimum of 6 weeks without a bike ARGH!!!!

BUT! one good thing will come of this, instead of just buying another nsr or something when my wrist's ok, im gonna get my test done (early feb ish if it isnt still too cold) then hopefully with the insurance money and compo 600 here i come Razz

At least they now know what the problem is. Make sure you keep track of how much you spend on all these journeys which would be done by bike, loss of use Smile

i just got back from hospictal too, seems i done more damage than i thought. torn cartilage on my knee and a ligament both on the left hand sifde of the kneee. i have to go for an MR scan(anyone know what that is pls tell me) and then if its as bad as he thinks then ill have to have some knee surgery!! Crying or Very sad

MR scan i *think* is a magnetic thing. You lie on a bench type thing, it slides into one of those massive circle things (ever seen them on flims/ tv?) it then scans around your knee, and your done.

Its better to find out now, then in 6 months when it hasnt healed.

oh i forgot zak, hope you get better, and like you say its a good thing in a way. im not allowed to ride a bike for 3 months cos of the ligament torn, and i cant drive a manual car so i have to get an automatic thats the only thing im allowed Crying or Very sad

MR machines only pick up hydrogen atoms and looks at how they behave, so basically they see water, so you can examine tissue with them. X ray for bone, MR for tissue.
