With my 18th drawing near and the subject of what I wanted arising, my parents suggested leathers. Ideally I'm thinking something reasonably sporty, knee slider velcro and the like but the rents are contributing about £200, so just wondering about where to source a decent two piece for around 300 notes? Is this optomistic and roughly what would it take to buy a set?

My RST 2pc cost me £270 nearly 3years ago now (oh how time flies Confused ) the leather and the stitching is all still as good as new, very impressed.

Get whatever fits you the best. And don't go for this crap ppl say about getting a suit thats tight as it'll stretch and fit you properly, it might, after a long time, but you'll be in pain all that time, get one that's a snug but comfortable fit to start with.

I think really decent stuff (ie good quality made to measure etc) tends to stretch more than a lot of 'off the peg' stuff (that includes things like Dianese/Alpinestars etc).

I was in Hein Gerricke today and to be honest there was nothing really in my price range. £379 for the Celtic suit and not much less for another one. Crying or Very sad

Cissbury Leathers up the road from me sell Arlen Ness which are top leathers.

I saw a leathers test in a mag not too long ago, one of the £400 suits beat a £1500 alpinestars in terms of abrasion, rips etc.. Which is shocking really for the price.
