right just got back from a friends and seen about 5 cyclists all in hi vis jackets at different places all looked as tho they had police on the back...... rather weird and strange i have to say as they were all near my favourite twistys!

have the bizzies decided at night on a pedal bike its faster???

any 1 able to shed some light on my bizzard ride home?

My Dad fables a story of owning a high vis jack with "Polite" written on. I never saw it, only ever heard about it.

You can still buy them, certainly gets attention especially if your rideing a white pan euro with mock copper reflective yellow square patterns!

I saw a git on a toury type bike, with reflective yellow squares and a white helmet the other day! Crapped as I nearly went flying past him til closer inspection revealed no blue light, no use of the word 'police' anywhere, and no boxes for various equipment.

Still irritated me though. Sad

Apprently its odd everyone behaves themselfs..

A sure way to avoid that "uh i didn't see you mate2 because they would utterly brick themselfs if they did hit a copalike Laughing

Perfectly legal if your not displaying the word police and not useing the same colour scheme, but its a fine line + cops dont like it much so wont do you any favours there...

Ho ho, that could have been either my test examiner! He used a big white pan-euro style bike with yellow stripes and a white flip-up full face helmet. It was helpful though, everyone was giving me right of way for some strange reason Smile
