Judging from previous posts on this subject I would assume none of the above. But your insurance company may ask to see a copy in the event of a claim.

I had to show mine for my insurance but I've not been in a situation where I've needed to show it for anything else.

a guy i know got his crash investigated, had to get the restrictors put back onto his writtern off bike, but he wasnt asked for the certificate at all Confused
