Hi i have a cg125 that when i use my brake light and indicators at the same time my brake light goes dim then bright in time with the indicators o and my neutral flashes to this only happens when bike is on tickover though everything else works fine and its been like this for ages but its due for mot soon so i could do with working out whats causing it

The fact that the electrics are pitifully weak at tickover, when the alternator isn't producing a big enough charge to keep everything going at the same time. Perfectly normal, definetly NOT an MOT failure.

Mine did the exact same... If your massively worried then get it looked at, at worst could be a faulty/iffy earth.

If the lights are almost going out then worry, if not learn to ignore it Razz

My NSR does the same thing, I think it is just case of crappy weak motorcycle electrical systems! er if not, then I don't really care as it passed the MOT Smile
