Rent-a-bike :)

Hi,

As some of you probably know, I'm doing my CBT tomorrow!

What I want to know is, if I pass, would I be able to rent a 125 or something for just a week? (Don't have the cash to buy a bike + insurance yet ) Because I want to get out on the road when I've passed, but obviously a bike/insurance is the limiting factor!

I highly doubt they would due to the fact I'd just done a CBT etc, but thought it might be worth asking,

The ages differ from place to place, though i think average is about 18 to ride a 125.

Speak to your training school, White Noise was able to rent one of their CG125's for a weekend I believe. I've seen a couple of other rental places state the minimum age is 17, but obviously varies with company.

Well I'm 21 in a couple of weeks so it should be ok! Wouldn't of thought they'd let me rent one after I just done CBT though!

yeah i managed to rent a bike from my school after i had ridden a ER-5 for a couple of lessons, wanted to get road experience. cost me £25 a day. was worth it as its nice to be out without an instructor in your ear!

i doubt it. most places wont touch you as your on L plates. but good luck!
