Fuel light (low many miles left when it comes on?)

Does anyone know approximately how many miles you've got left once the fuel warning light comes on? I've got a Triumph TT600 (got it last week). So far, I've gone straight to the petrol station when it's come on - but if I'm in a situation where I can't go straight away, it would be handy knowing how long I've got left.

Theres only one way to find out.. take a spare 5litre bottle of petrol and ride it till it stops.. that is how far you have

Fuel consumption varys too much to say accurately, depending on how your rideing it and the condition of your bike (engine, chain, fuel system, spark plugs e.t.c.)...

Try runing it out and then make sure to give yourself 10miles spare just in case..

I have a TT600 and I have no idea.

On my Daytona you could do over twenty miles on reserve, but the TT will be different. I may join you in the 5-litre-petrol-can-bungee netted-to-the-pillion-seat-challenge!
