Speedfight rollers

i have a speedfight 2 a/c with a leo vince tt sport exhaust and a polini racing variator i found that the correct rollers for this are 7g but my variator seems to eat them and they turn square in a week i have to use the backing plate of the old variator in the polini variator as the one that is suplyed in the kit was too narrow so the belt could not travel all the way up the variator.
i have also fitted a polini racing belt to suit this but i am starting to get really annoyed with the rollers can any one help me plz the bike does 55mph on the clock witch my dad checked in the car an was actually 50mph

Ok. It sounds like your buying shit rollers. Either that or theres a problem with your Variator.

I had a Speedfight 70cc. With like nearly every single tuning mod available and I had the same 5.5g rollers in it for nearly 6 months without a problem...
And I used to wheelie none stop! Laughing

Take the variator out, and place it in your hand. Now run a roller up each channel to see if it sits ok all the way up.

Also, what make are the rollers. Some rollers require greasing befire you put them in...
