I had mine for a year before doing my test, and they're apparently a hard bike to ride They are reliable if looked after properly, just make sure you keep to the maintenance schedule. Get some experience on this bike and you'll be more comfortable come test time. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

I didn't get any history either. It was an import from Ireland. Had no major troubles with it though so don't worry. I'm sure the service will find anything that could turn into something major before it becomes an issue. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

3 Weeks for parts? What are they meant to be getting in for you? Air Filter, Plug etc. shouldnt take 3 weeks.
And dont worry too much about the history, mine was a german import (although i got the original german V5 with it).

Both garages I use for Honda get original parts next day. I dont see how they can take the piss for so long. If it was mine I'd have told them to stuff it and gone somwhere else. It's my only form of transport and taxis cost a fortune. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/

They have got to be messing you around. I just bought front pads for mine, along with some other bits and pieces. One place said it would take a week cos they only ordered parts on a Tuesday (not because it took a week to get the parts), so i just went somewhere else and they got all the parts within 48 hours, no problem.
I'd tell them they either have the parts tommorow or you are taking it somewhere else. Then ring around and find somewhere else while you're waiting!

Sounds right as it's a wet clutch, but I've never fitted one so they might be bs some more. ____________________ https://www.bikepics.com/members/fuzzbcf/
