mate sent this to me looks like an ok deal, only thing is its refrurbs, so you dont really know what been wrong with it before. Alothought id imagine Apples gaurantee wouldnt be too bad!

normaly electronic refurbs are fine since the bits are that tend to fail are the electronic connections, the solder is either there and they work or they dont and you send them back, ive a refurbed crt still working after 8 years

there is a really big but however when it comes to batterys, their lifespan is on a curve and you really dont want to end up with one near the middle since they can go downhill way too fast at the end and apple will have some clause that basicly describes a battery as a consumable and tell you to piss off if you try to claim leaving you with a £100 10 gig laptop drive.

Epz, this is a direct from Apple Refurb, so if it needed a new battery its been replaced! Apple aren't stingy in things.

I have a refurb Apple Powerbook, and its been fine for the last year and a half, came with a brand new battery too.

Also Apple offer a battery replacement program for £75 should your battery fail after the 1 year warranty.
