any 1 got a rought idea of how much % it goes up when u get points? 3 points? looking to get an SV650 in a few months when i pass i got a quote for £510 tpft which i was told was good so just wondering any 1 got any ideas? @ ages 20

I suppose that's not bad at 20, although at 28 I got the SV650S for £132 TPFT with 0 no claims and no full licence Thumbs Up

well im riding on a provisonal and thought i would be paying well high insurance when me renewal came. BUT NO...........

last year i had 1 years no claims, 0 points i payed £465 TPFT on my rs125 with £400 excess

on this years renewal.......

with 3 points, 2 years no claims ,£0 excess it went to £202.64 TPFT with full breakdown and recovery service???????????

and im only 18 Cool

Your 3 points are for not displaying L plates aren't they?
I would think that in todays society that 3 points for speeding were the norm, so would not increase insurance by anything considerable.

oh yeah i remember reading that post about the no L plates. Strange really i never displayed L plates on my NS125F for over a year and got away with it.

I dont even have a L plate on my front but i do on my back now
