have been seeing lots of bikers in shorts and vest in this hot weather ,other day a couple doing 90-100 mph on a motorway in jeans and vests ,seems a bit stupid to me !
I have been tempted to wear jeans a couple of times but don't think its worth the risk considering most drivers no longer indicate anymore !
Also must be painfull with flys hitting you all the time.....ouch !
I just have my cordura jacket half unzipped for a nice breeze !
what about you guys ?

I wear full gear and I make my boyfriend wear full gear as well. We do have summer gear so it is slightly less hot but I just can't imagine going out in shorts and t-shirt and enjoying the ride.

I always wear full gear. It's not worth the risk. It's not too bad though as I've got textiles. Plenty of vents on 'em too. Thumbs Up

I always wear full gear when I go out, leather trousers arn't very comfy at all in the hot weather but still if I come off I'd rather be wearing them then just normal jeans.

I have been thinking of getting dragging jeans but not to sure about them as yet Confused

I usually wear my full gear BECAUSE it is hot. I'm more likely to push my bike a lot harder when it's hot, so i wear as much as i can...

However, if i'm nipping to the shop, i'm not going to get changed into my kit just for a 20second ride. That rule applies for the hot and cold.

I always wear boots and gloves, regardless of the weather. Most of the time I've got a jacket (textile or leather), and maybe a quarter of the time I'll wear something other than jeans. Really depends on what kind of journey I'm about to do, on what type of roads, what weather is expected, etc.

always wear full kit..

even went to the shop quickly the other day to get bog roll, i pondered over the possibility of going as i was with jeans and my bike jacket, then i realised instead of debating aye/naw i'd be as well just yanking on the armoured trousers, too..

at the end of the day i'd rather sit in my own sweat than lie painfully in my own blood.

Only got leathers today and it was pretty nippy, generally I'd wear jeans/jacket at least though unless it's to the shop I might just stick on the old lid.

Exactly the same as me. A new set of leathers would cost more than my bike. Very Happy

Same as Leicester City, looking for some textile trousers.

Removable liner in my jacket seems to cool things down a little.

Summer gloves (with between finger vents) help.
