Thinking about purchasing one of these.
Its has its 16k service.

Anything I should be thinking about or looking out for?

i have read that they are reliable except for the rectifier going on them but that might be older models.

they do about 40mpg

One VFR owner even carreid a rectifier as a spare
rectfiers for VFR are £80 on ebay

An 02 Vtec or a late reg 800FI?? If it's a Vtec then there are some issues - fuelling etc as as well. Have a wander over to the Viffer site and read the Workshop part of the forum. Some are great with no problems, others suffer a bit.
