 |
|
Well following on from the worst bike shop ever thread, I just wondered if there were people out there satisfied with the service a certain bike shop has given them, or whether they deserve praise or anything.
Mine would be a little shop called Warrington Motorcycles in Warrington, Cheshire.
The guys there treat you with respect, they mechanic Dave knows his stuff and he is the only mechanic at a bikeshop I'd trust with my bikes.
Whether going in there for a pair of earplug and a chat they Salesman James is a decent lad and knows his stuff and bends over backwards to get you sorted! |

Teasdales Motorcycles, Thirsk - North Yorkshire.
Quite a small bike shop, but very welcoming. Have a good range of products with various styles of bikes, plenty of clothing/parts/accessories and great after sale support. Good honest people who will tell you what you need to know. We've bought several bikes from there, (not to mention leathers and the such!) and had nothing but positive salesmanship. Also have a good workshop which is the only place I'll get my bike serviced. Everything reasonably priced and the mechanics are top blokes.
Also, the warranty you get from these actually means something. My Aprilia RS125 I bought last year had been rebuilt before I bought it, but had a dodgy gasket, so it was burning off gearbox oil in the cylinder. This caused the gearbox to get rather stiff and wouldnt shift very well. They rebuilt the engine free of charge, got the bike back on the road in about two days and I never had to return the bike to them for any work.
Couldnt recommend them enough. ____________________ Aprilia RSV Mille R Edwards Replica - Aprilia RS250 - Suzuki GSXR600 Supersport Race Bike |

On Yer Triumph - Aston Clinton Bucks.
Excellent and very helpful, even to me who only uses them for oil and tyres.
Moore's - Hemel Hempstead.
On the spot MOT's.

Well Revolution Scooters in Warrington are dead good, and I quite fancy their workshop manager.......
Soon to be Revolution Aprilia, doing the full Aprilia range, rather than just the scooters. ____________________ Sod falling in love, I wanna fall in chocolate. |

Twiggers Motorcycles in Loughborough. Moto Guzzi and Aprilia. Some rather exotic pieces of machinery in there and very helpful staff.
The best bike shop altogether is the one which doesn't sell bikes, Heine Gericke. Excellent customer service, fantastic quality kit and they're not hanging around like vultures and trying to sell you stuff you don't want. They also know exactly what they're talking about and will post stuff to you for free if they don't have it in store.
Phil in HG Sheffield gets the . Last time we were in there, we got his help for an hour and a half in finding exactly what we wanted and in the right size. Mind you, they are priced accordingly. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

You only ever bought a scooter from them!
Cant really say they're a bad dealership, but everyone has different experiences, mine just so happen to be positive. ____________________ Aprilia RSV Mille R Edwards Replica - Aprilia RS250 - Suzuki GSXR600 Supersport Race Bike |

Wheel-fit in Cambridge.
I'm relatively new to the area, but I'm sure unless you KNEW those guys were there, you'd never find them.
very helpful, and even tho I've only been in a couple times already, they remember stuff i've bought, and gave me some free internal caliper seals when I had to split it, but internal seals weren't included in the normal seal kit.
had a long chat with the owner/boss (i think) about roads in scotland..
top bods.
