I have moved into my flat, everything is going well.
I couldn’t get the bike in the lobby area so the kind people who own the building have allowed me to use their lock up, its basically by the side of the building a little walk from my flat.
See diagram…..
https://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y278/Killa127/untitled.jpg
The gate is fairly strong like metal grid type (sorry hard to explain, this is locked with a hardened steel padlock.
The container is like one you use for shipping, with a large iron bar to lock in place, this is also locked with the same padlock.
The bike is data tagged, has steering lock, large oxford chain and a disc lock.
Is this enough, or do you think I need some kind of audible alarm?
Any suggestions for this would be great

That makes me feel better, I have always said, if someone really wants it, they will get it.
After 3 bikes being stolen I have learnt a lesson.
The padlocks I have a called ‘hardened’ what exactly does this mean, that you will need something more than bolt cutters?? ____________________ Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.

They'll be manufactured with case hardened steel, rather than standard steel.
Makes it more brittle, but damn hard to cut through. You'd need more than some standart bolt croppers. ____________________ <Simple> no I'm shaven Jon

For in your flat a PageAlert pager alarm might be an idea.
I'm thinking if you can't see the lockup from your flat you might not hear anything as well.
The PageAlert is just a dedicated radio pager, it you want an alarm that's another item.
They're from M&P for around £40 click here.
Failing that, in the lockup a cheap PIR garage alarm with sounder and a baby monitor, the baby alarm receiver in your flat.
