I've been told a trick with a clear visor is to slip a sock over it to protect it in a bag. Never actually seen anyone use this though.
As said there are bumbags available with a lined pocket for a visor. ____________________ ...and the whirlwind is in the thorn trees, it's hard for thee to kick against the pricks...

my local halfords is even stocking Oxford bumbags with a soft/padded visor holder, or a simple visor only bumbag style holder.
the bumbag is ideal for me, as my leathers have only one internal pocket, and that's it... so I put the autocom unit, mp3 player, sunglasses, wallet, phone, house-keys etc in the bumbag when I'm out

Yeah I've heard that myself that coppers are more fairer on you if you've got a clear visor spare. Depends if you get an arsey one mind
Was going to get a black visor for my helmet until I asked at my local shop and they charge about £30 for a replacement one Not too bothered though as there's a little flip down dark visor insde the helmet which is handy. |

Stick it in a sock and put it around your waist, above your hip. Job done. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Just stick it in the boot . Forewarned though, this option may require the use of a substantial amount of ky Jelly or some other water based lubricant. Oh yeah and a lot of pushing, breathing and squealing like a pig |

Or you could just wear the black one when it's light, and wear the clear one when it's likely to get dark. A bit ground-breaking, but it works wonders for me |
