Here's a little video I knocked up from yesterday at Cadders.

Footage comes from the first 2 sessions of the day, I kinda lost the will to faff with the camera as the day wore on. Rolling Eyes

Rear-facing bullet camera - it's actually poking out through a hole in the undertray just above the numberplate.

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, there's no engine noise cos the mic's bolloxed.

Nice vid. I've thought about mounting mine facing backwards, but I find it makes it strange when watching video as you see the corners after they've past.

No wheelie shots over the mountain? Twisted Evil

Naah, unfortunately the camera was only running in qualifying and the first session so I wasn't exactly giving it 'all that' compared to later in the day.

In fact, most of the footage is of an entirely empty track as it seems the couple of folk who got past me did so and our whole group opened up a big gap away from the next lot.

Kinda pissed off with myself that I was lazy with the camera, but it was so hot that between sessions I just wanted to sit about rather than spend ages arguing with it (having taken about 30 mins and serious hand contortions to get it wedged into place). There are some plastic bits on the undertray that I'm quite tempted to saw off, it would fit really well then. Smile

I tested my Bullet cam out on my bike the other day, did a few miles run then came back only to find that the batterys had come out of the power pack half way round and the mic hadn't worked. I have never managed to get it to work from new, despite fidding with all the cameras settings. However I have just figured it out. The Mic does not go in the mic socket on the camera, it goes in the line in socket. As the cameras are set to VCR mode to use the bullet cam the mic socket is disabled. Bit of a long shot that its the same problem your having, but what the smeg.

Top video BTW Very Happy
