Very Happy Dance! I finally passed my test !!!!!!!! Very Happy
Shitting bricks before hand though. Wink
4 minors, almost screwed up the u- turn by dabbing my foot down at the last minute, luckly got away with a minor Cool

The examiner pulled me over and asked what was wrong with my speed, i was reading 30 mph ,but he was reading 25 mph !
My bike is a new cbr125, i know at higher speeds most bikes over/under read the mph, but weird its happing at that low speed ?
Any one else have that same problem ?

BTW L-plates are off, and to be burnt soon !!! Twisted Evil
Bikes look so much better without L shape cat flaps on them !!!

Dance!

Lucky he didn't fail you for the speed! And you're allowed to drag your feet on the U-turn as long as he thinks you're in control.

Well done! Time to get a CBR600!

Well done 'lilldic_mossy' Thumbs Up

Me passed today too.

Irrespective of what you want in the future, isn't it just a great feeling to be able to ride without 'L' plates?

Just ride safe and stay alive mate. Wink

Thanks 'quik_d'

I could have taken my bike test over 25 years ago, when things were so much simpler - no such thing as radio's, just a few examiners on a few corners to keep an eye on only what you were doing at the time they could actually see you.

But, marriage, kids and family commitments just got in the way at that time.

But hey! I've passed now. And I'm so pleased. I'd forgotten just how enjoyable biking can be. Even with our wonderful summer weather at the moment.

Thanks again.

Yeah, he pulled me over and asked if my bike was alright as i was "holding up " the traffic behind".
When i got back to the test centre, the first thing i asked when i took off my helmet was "why did you say that, as it was a 30mph road, not a 40 ?"
Seems by his speedo i was only doing 25mph, not the 30mph on my clock ! Confused
Think i picked up 2 points for it though, but a pass is still a pass !!!
Went out today (since the test its been raining like mad !) and it feels gooooooood riding without those things !!!
But i have been eyeing up a new sv650,gsxr600 and cbr600 down in thunderroad ,bridgend Twisted Evil I like !! Me wants !!!
