Got a problem!

Bascially, problem is this...
Went for my induction and it turns out I'm too short to learn to ride on their bikes. Allegedly I'm too short to learn to rid eon ANY bikes in the country and will have to get a Cruiser. I feel this is pointless as I don't really want one, is there any way of lowering a bike (the type you learn to ride on) without altering the handling? I know you can get seats lowered but it alters the handling and suspension, I've heard?
Any ideas on scooping out the foam of the seat, or just any ideas in general? The way it looks, I'm not going to be able to learn to ride because I'm too small and I really want to! I'm only a few inches too small, too!

You can do lots of things - seat modifications are easiest, suspension modifications (shorter shocks and so on) are more expensive and more permanent, not the kinda thing you'd do to the school's bike.

Are you looking to learn on a 125 or to do DAS? I'd imagine finding a 125 you can fit on is going to be easy enough, then you can look at sports 400s and if it's your bike you can get it modified to suit you.

If you lower the bike on thge suspension by the same amount, the handling shouldn't be altered.

There are plenty of small bikes out there.

The CBR400 is actually smaller than the NSR125 I believe!
