I'd say go for the Gianelli.

Yeah, the JM's are more suited to tuned barrells and set ups.

Cheers guys, I found a Gianelli full system, being expansion chamber, and end can, and piping of course. It is on Predatormotorsport.com for £129, is this a good price? its only mild steel or something though so will this last or will it rust away?

and another quick thing, how much if any will this increse the power by? or will it just look nicer and sound nicer as I hope it will? Laughing

You should notice a little more top end go and it may rev higher than before, but you may lose some midrange power. If you install the exhaust, be sure to either fit a larger mainjet or get a larger carburator.

A mild steel system will only rust very quickly in our typical english weather. You should find yourself a stainless system if you dont fancy having a very rusty exhaust.

I believe Giannelli also make the exhaust for Arrow (or the other way around) so I'd go with the cheapest one you can find. I had a MetraKit exhaust on my old Senda 50, and that made a nice improvement in acceleration and sounded lovely, might be worth looking into for your RX as they're reasonably priced.

Dont think you'll get mind boggling improvements in power by changing the exhaust, they just shift the power band in order to rev cleaner and make a much nicer sound. At least it'll have better acceleration though. Thumbs Up

yea as far as i know mild steel rusts like a bitch. might be wrong tho. umm £129 for full system seems like deal to me.

As for power yea it will prob be increased, and will sound like a ball bearing being rattled in a tin can or an angry bee Mr. Green dont you just love the noises those 2 smokes make!

mild steel will be fine as long as you keep it painted with exhaust paint like VHT

there’s no guarantee that stainless steel will not rust in wet weather with salt on the roads come winter time.

''Full sports system for the popular aprilia mx50 sports motorcycle.
Ultimate tuned front pipe for more power.
Finished in clear lac finish
Silencer finished in brushed alloy.
All fittings are included (only extra needed are x1 exhaust port gasket see accessories page).
Note: Sports exhaust will de-restrict your machine you should contact your insurance company''

Thats the information they give on the £129 gianelli, though i dont agree with the insurance bit to be honest Rolling Eyes

NOW WITH FREE DELIVERY IN ENGLAND !

''NOTE; clear finish mild steel will rust with time we recommend painting with sperex VHT paint''

And there is a watning/note they also add at the bottom, the exhaust looks really nice thugh with the individual welsing and stuff so i cnt really want to paint over it, is there any way i can laquer the expansion chamber, so that it is protected yet still looks the same, or is this not possible? cheers guys Twisted Evil

Buy the cheaper one of the three. They'll all have similar performance and will all make the bike sound better.

Just remember to check your carb settings after fitting a race system, chances are they'll lean the mixture out a little bit, so will require re-jetting. Thumbs Up
